Hello Friends,
I am working on the simulation of a PCB board with ICs and a DC-DC converter. I have defined power dissipation(Watts) values for each chip and DC converter. PCB is placed inside an enclosure that acts as a Heat sink. I am interested in understanding how much power dissipated to the surroundings and on the frame. I have run steady state thermal analysis to determine the temperature rise. how to calculate power dissipation?
Thanks,
Srini

Hello,
To calculate the power dissipation, you may select the "Heatflow" option for the particular geometry in the summary report.Â
Thank you,Pdev
