Regarding Ansys Mechanical, i was wondering if is possible to create an input parameter and call it back in the Ansys Mechanical Python scripting

Let say, create a new input paramter like in the following image,

How to call back this parameter in Python Scripting from Ansys Mechanical? 

Model.GetParameter("NewParameter")  is not working

How can I create a new Parameter via scripting?

So you want to create the input parameter in the workbench page from the Mechanical level script, and later use it in Mechanical level script?

Dear Aniket,

I think flahuerta wants to read WB Parameters (Parameter Set) from Mechanical using scripting. Looks like GetParameter method is  not designed for that. Is there any other way parameters from WB can be read in Mechanical scripting? Thanks!
