SubscriberHi,Â
I want to export the hairpin winding optimised in MotorCAD to Fluent.Â
I tried exporting the CAD geometry to Fluent.
But the end-winding is simplified in the exported CAD, I need the detailed hairpin end-winding for the Fluent simulation.Â
Any advice on how to proceed is much appreciated.Â
Thanks,
Waruna

Hi Waruna Maddumage,
Can you share the screenshots of how is the simplified end winding looks in Fluent after you export from MotorCAD and what is expected?
Have you checked exporting the geometry into Maxwell and then to Fluent if you have the AEDT License?

So we would like the exact hairpin geometry of both crown and welded sides. Is this possible?
Below are some screenshots of the geometry we got.Â

SubscriberHi, Thank you for the responce.Â
Yes we have the licience. I exported it to Maxwell and then to Fluent. Still it's not the exact haiping winding geometry.Â
Below are few pictures of the geometry I got after exporting from maxwell. These are screenshots from SpaceClaim.Â
If you look at the geometry closely, below is the endwinding patter on both sides of the winding. Which is not acurate.Â
Thanks.Â
