Re: LS Dyna on Linux Ubuntu

  How does the process flow work for installing LsDyna on Linux Ubuntu 21.04? Is this even possible? I am completely new to the system and would like to get a working installation.
  1. Install the Ansys structures_2022R2_LNX64
  2. Install the LsDyna solver, ls-dyna_smp_d_R13_1_1_centos79_aocc310.tgz_extractor.sh?
  3. Is the centos solver compatible on Ubuntu?
  4. Install the licence server on my machine, The licence is on a remote server, and I have the port address. Is this step necessary?

  1-3:Ansys Structures include ANSYS LS-DYNA.
  It is supported on Ubuntu LTS 20.04
  Is there a reason to install the centos solver?
  
  4: Is the license an ANSYS license or LSTC? If ANSYS license, You would point the machine to the license manager using the Client Settings utility:
```
/ansys_inc/v222/licensingclient/linx64/ClientSettings/ClientSettings
```

  Thanks! I have installed only the structures package and left off the Centos solver and got the following error:
  I get the following error when I try and run workbench on Linux.

  Make sure ALL prerequisites are installed as per the installation guide.
  If you search for Ans.QT.dll, you should come up with posts on here that discuss that,
  as the following:
