Solidworks to Electronics desktop

  Hello all,
  I'm trying to import my solidworks file into electronics desktop for motor simulation, but it doesn't seem to have the step file as a option for the student software. I tried to import the step file in spaceclaim, but after opening the file the geometry can't be viewed. Any suggestions?

  Hi,
  You cannot import STEP file format into the student version of Ansys Electronics Desktop, but you can import it in a regular version.
  Please provide more information on which type of model you are trying to import into SpaceClaim. Also share some screenshots if possible. You can also try importing different file formats if possible.
