Use of C_R(c,t) and C_LIQF(c,t) inside DEFINE_SOURCE

I am adding source terms in momentum and energy equation. I am using Solidification/Melting in FLUENT. Whenever I use C_R(c,t) and C_LIQF(c.t) in my UDF, the UDF compiles without any error but when I start the simulation, the simulation crashes with mpt:9999 no error. Can someone please tell me about the issue? Any help is appreciated.

      Hi,

Check if UDF has values to be stored in UDM. If yes, please define UDM before running simulation. Details on UDM is available in section

3.2.12. User-Defined Memory (UDM) Macros in 3.2. Data Access Macros (ansys.com)

Hello Swathi, thanks for your reply. I have allocated enough number of UDMs before running the simulation still it crashes.

Read the top line of the error, mpt:9999 is a process error, but there may be something more useful at the top.

Hi Robert, thanks for your reply. There are multiple lines showing mpt:9999 and before I can reach the top, FLUENT closes.

Not sure then. If you post the code there may be something obvious: note staff won't be debugging but we can offer hints and the wider community are able to post more freely (we're covered by export laws).
