Question on how Q3D calculate CG matrix

      Hello, 
      I am currently trying to extract some cable parameters using Q3D, but I am confused by how Q3D generates the CG matrix. The capacitance extraction should correspond to the potential differences between conductor and shield mathematically. However, in my simulation, I did not see any difference in the CG matrix of my Conductor and Shield neither the shield floating nor being assigned Sink and Source of the surface for parameter extraction.
      Therefore, I am wondering if the CG matrix is voltage-dependent or if it only depends on the geometrics of the cable layout values. And if it is voltage-dependent, what is the correct way to perform the simulation.
      I hope someone can help me better understand the theory behind the Q3D. Thanks ahead!

      Q3D Extractor Technical Notes > RLGC Parameter Matrices > Capacitance Matrices

      The calculation is both voltage and geometry dependent.
