SubscriberHello everyone,
I performed Modal analysis of wing without skin. The results are pretty much close to that in literature. However, when I performed it with skin, modal frequencies appears much larger to that in literature. Actually, skin is made up of oralight sheet whose mass density is given with a value of 36 g/m^2. However, I didn't find any option in material properties of ANSYS to enter mass density. So, I divided it by thickness of sheet which is 12 micro-meters and convert it into 3000 kg/m^3 . Dear Members, requires your expert opinion on this.

SubscriberThank you for your kind response.
But, I have density of oralight sheet in g/m^2, not in kg/m^3. And, I didn't find unit of mass density in Ansys. Can you please help me out?
