SubscriberHi!
Is there any way to remove the whole parameter set from workbench? I wanted to do a mesh convergence study, but after having updated the geometry and modified the setup the parameters are just causing issues.

The parameter set appears when we define a parameter by checking a box besides the respective property. A complete loop indicates there are both input and output parameters defined for the analysis system. It can be removed by simply unchecking the box next to the respective property and refreshing the project.
Hope that helps.
Thanks Sahil

SubscriberThanks! I had unchecked all the parameters in Mechanical, but they still remained in the Parameter Set. The issue was resolved by closing and reopening workbench, and then going through and unchecking the parameters again.

SubscriberActually, on further inspection I see that all my work since the problems with the parameters started has now been undone, even though I saved the workbench project several times. This is a serious bug in Mechanical / Workbench, costing me many hours of work... Is there any place I can report this bug with more details?

Which ANSYS Academic version are you using ?
I did check the issue with the parameters on my end and didn't face any.
You can find the latest academic version through the following link- Download Ansys Student | Workbench-based Simulation Tools

SubscriberI'm using ANSYS Workbench 2021 R2, not academic. The problems started when submitting the design study to a remote solver queue. This gave a lot of warnings that the solver license was not available, though the simulations eventually solved. Trying to change parameters and other things in the setup in Mechanical afterwards gave errors saying that I couldn't make changes while a design point was active, though all design points were solved and no jobs were in the RSM queue.

You can raise a service request so that the installation team might help you out resolving the issue.
If the you aren't eligible for the support, please create a separate discussion on the forum for the new issues as mentioned in the guidelines.
Thanks Sahil
