      Hi! I need some help and i hope somebody can help. I have downloaded the Ansys Student version. I completed the installation and when i open the part Mechanical APDL Product Launcher 2022 R1 and click to the Run botten the command window appear and after that i get error messeges. In these messeges the program say that the entry point (for_realloch_lhs and for_execute_command_line ) is not found in the DLL. I tried to replace the file where the problem is, but after that the program find another missing entry point. And i have tried uninstalled and download again and again, but i get the same problem every time. Can somebody help how can i solve this problem? (Sorry for the sentence formating mistakes i am not good at English.)

      Can you post the exact error?
      Also, post the output from opening a DOS command prompt and typing:
      set PATH
      Please post the error and not any files as we are not permitted to open files, Thank You

      The errors are:
      The procedure entry point (for_execute_command_line) could not be located in the dynamic link library (C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v221\ANSYS\bin\winx64\ANSYS.EXE)
      The procedure entry point (for_realloch_lhs) could not be located in the dynamic link library (C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v221\ANSYS\bin\winx64\ANSYS.EXE)
      The procedure entry point (for_execute_command_line) could not be located in the dynamic link library (C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v221\ANSYS\bin\winx64\dmumps.dll)
      The procedure entry point (for_realloch_lhs) could not be located in the dynamic link library (C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v221\ANSYS\bin\winx64\dmumps.dll)

      If i type the set PATH into the command prompt i get this:
      C:\Users\Eszter>set PATH
      Path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\redist\intel64_win\compiler;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\redist\intel64\compiler;C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\WINDOWS\System32\OpenSSH\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\runtime\win64;C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\bin;C:\Program Files\dotnet\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\130\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon\;W:\Programok\MATLAB\bin;W:\Programok\Plaxis\python\plxpy\;C:\Users\Eszter\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon\;
      PATHEXT=.COM;.EXE;.BAT;.CMD;.VBS;.VBE;.JS;.JSE;.WSF;.WSH;.MSC

      Try to edit the PATH environment variable so that it begins with:
      C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\WINDOWS\System32\OpenSSH\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\runtime\win64;C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\bin;C:\Program Files\dotnet\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\130\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon\;W:\Programok\MATLAB\bin;W:\Programok\Plaxis\python\plxpy\;C:\Users\Eszter\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon\;

      Meaning, cut:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\redist\intel64_win\compiler;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\redist\intel64\compiler;
      and paste it at the end of the PATH environment variable.

      What happens whe you open a DOS Command prompt and type i the following:
      Set PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\WINDOWS\System32\
      Then change to a temp directory, say c:\temp, if it exists...If not, create it. then change to that directory.
      Type in the following:
      "C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v212\ansys\bin\winx64\ansys2021R2.exe" -g
      Does MAPDL start?

      I would uninstall Ansys.
      Delete the c:\Program Files\Ansys Inc directory
      Verify the downloaded Student package is correct size and not corrupt.
      Reinstall making sure you right-click on setup.exe and choose run as administrator
