Background:

I am trying to simulate a plasma reactor to map heat distribution and airflow. This is a basic 2D simulation and I started with the a fluid domain only and got the result I liked . See two pictures below. Note: the model represents only half of the reactor but I did not select Axis-symmetry.

Hello:
I'm thinking that you missed the Share Topology step in your geometry preparation. When you perform this, Fluent will automatically recognize convert the solid-fluid wall as coupled. Perhaps, this is what you are looking for Karthik

thank you for your answer. Unfortunately this does not help. The calculation is still finished immediately this can┬┤t be correct.
