SubscriberI am investigating the flow in a simple rotor-stator cavity. Are more than 15 inflation layers needed since the thermal boundary layer needs resolving?
Also, does the standard method of obtaining the First Layer Thickness for a flow along a flat plate apply to rotational flows?

Ansys EmployeeFor thermal, you can use 5 to 10 layers.
For first layer thickness, it is similar to boundary layers. Please check following post.
