SubscriberHi everyone,
I am working on a model with same step sizes etc. for both static and transient structural module. However, the stress output in transient analysis is noticeably lower. There is time varying remote load applied and both model have same point mass. Transient structural module has also %5 damping and participation ratios from modal analysis are higher then %80 for all axis.
In my opinion the result should same due to same step size and load. May be inertia and damping in transient structural causes the difference.
Any Opinion ?

SubscriberStatic Structural is not solving the same equations as Transient Structural, which adds inertia forces to the static structural equations, so I would not expect those two models to have the same stress.
