SubscriberHi,
I am trying to PDN simulation using Siwave, and I got the error message while I simulate my model.
This error message is happend when I don't assign component models or I assign component models.
I attached error message below.

Ansys EmployeeDoes this error occur with every simulation, or just a single one? I'm aware of another case of this error happening. That time, it was due to a separate IT DRM protection software program blocking parts of SIwave and other Ansys applications from running correctly. Would you know if you happen to have any kind of restrictive apps of that sort running on the simulation machine?

SubscriberHi, ddvorsca.
Thanks for your reply.
As you mentioned, this problem was happened because of DRM.
But, I can't understand why IR-Drop simulation works well. Anyway, this problem was solved.
Thanks for your reply again! Happy New Year and have a good day.

Subscriberi'm getting this error in siwave validation check "Metal layer "layer-2" is embedded in a dielectric whose Er=0, but Er of dielectric above is 4.3 and Er of dielectric below is 4.3"Â but the values for dielectric constant are in there, while the loss tangent aren't. can someone explain this error why am i getting it?, what does it mean ? how to clear it? and how do i put the loss tangent values in?
