Hello

I faced a script error when launching mechanical as shown below.

There is nothing in the mechanical. What is the cause of this error? How can I recover the my mechanical?

By the way, there is no such issue in Spaceclaim, ANSYS version 2021 R1.

Hi

See if renaming the relevant 2021 R1 or R2 (not sure which version gives this issue).
Just type this: %APPDATA%/Ansys
in file explorer and rename the problematic version (say 2020 R2 : called 202 to 202old) as shown below:

Thank you very much for your feedback. I just check the files as shown below, the problematic version is ANSYS 2021 R1, i foud that it has the same error even i create a new simualtion case. So i unistalled, and install again, but the issue did not solved.

Can you rename that v211 folder to v211_old and see if this still happens.

Thank you very much for you help, the problem is now solved following your advice. I changed the v211 to v211_old, then I reopen the mechanical, after that a new v211 is generated ! I don't know why, is it a bug? But anyway, thank you so much for your help !
