SubscriberHello,
I want to run a co-simulation of HFSS and Circuit. How do I create the connection points in the HFSS model, so I can see them as pins (to connect active elements) in Circuit?

I would suggest you to go through "Cosimulation Using Ansys HFSS" course from below link:
/courses/index.php/courses/cosimulation-using-ansys-hfss/
Thanks Chinmay

SubscriberHi Chinmay and thanks for your reply, I watched the course however it does not answer my question- I know how to excite a main source in Circuit, however if I want to connect a diode between arbitrary points in an antenna design, how do I define these points?

Wherever you want to defineapoint use lumped port at that place.
Thanks Chinmay

SubscriberThanks for your reply, I have one more question though; it seems that the addition of lumped ports affects the results of the 3D simulation. How could I eliminate these?

While simulating with lumped ports to use with circuits, then you may need to use the device resistances as the lumped port resistance.
All the very best.
