Hi Guys, i was trying to open ansys 2021 mechanical by clicking 'model' and  It opens a plain grey window but the program never materializes. After minutes of waiting (one a modern, powerful PC) I close the grey window and I get an error in the main workbench window that says:

" Error while waiting for Mechanical initialization to complete. Either the application crashed or Workbench lost communication with it."

please help

Do you have firewalls running? Check for firewalls and shut them down to test if you can run.
Also, under: %TEMP%\WorkbenchLogs, you should see log files for your sessions...
Check those for errors and post any errors you see.

I tried turning off windows defender but still mechanical doesn't work
this was the error shown..
waited so long for the mechanical to initialize but still its a grey screen...
