Subscribertransient solver* as the title cant be longer.
I am simulating a fluxgate magnetometer sensor, where the input coil has a variing current, so i use the transient solver to simulate the current flow and induced magnetic field.
Now i want to make a uniform static magnetic field for the fluxgate magnetometer to measure.
The magnetic field should be going over the whole region and shouldnt change with time.
I can create a static magnetic field in the magentostatic solver, as there you can use zerotangential boundaries, but this is not an option in transient solver.
How can i manage to do this?
Thanks in advance

In the magnetostatic solver i have access to tangential* boundaries

Forum ModeratorHi @LukBlaz can you provide some screenshots with annotations to understand and interpret your application better?
Please use the image option and not the Attachment option while sharing the screenshots.
I do not understand what you mean by getting a static magnetic field when the current in the coil is time-varying.

Hi.
What i mean is that i need a static magnetic field additionally to the time varying field from the sensor.
i included 2 images of how i expect the static field to look, its just going over the whole region with the same strength and same direction. the pictures were created in the magnetostatic solver, as there you have access to tangential boundaries, which are needed to create the field the way i did. BUT i need the transient solver for the actual measurement i need, so i cant use magnetostatic solver.
What it boils down to is that i want to create a uniform static magnetic field over the whole region in the transient solver. This is the problem i cant solve.

These pictures are from magnetostatic and were created by making 4 tangential-H-field-boundaries on the sides of the region and 2 zero-tangential-H-field-boundaries on the top and bottom sides of the region as is pictured next.
and the other sides with the other tangential-H-field boundaries
the zero-tangential-h-field boundaries.
This creates a uniform static magnetic field as the magnetic field can only escape the region on the top and bottom.
This approach is not possible in transient solver, so how can i create the same result in transient?
