Ansys Mechanical Apdl

  Hello.
  It looks like the new student 2021 R1 version doesnt have Mechanical APDL. And there isn't any way to renew 2020 R2 after its expiry this year.
  
  Also ansys student discovery has the capability for structural analysis but there isn't any mention to the details of those structural analysis it can do.
  Thanks in advance for a reply/response.

  P2 will be covered in the documentation. If' you're needing the full APDL interaction I suspect Discovery is not what you're after.

  Thanks Rob. 2021 R1 has ansys multiphysics and I am not sure if this is with Ansys apdl or. Ansys workbench. Any idea?

  Hi Everyone,
  Did anyone got this type of error while doing ansys modal analysis.
  *** ERROR *** CP = 137.469 TIME= 10:22:18
  During the multiframe restart process, neither the .RDB file nor the
  .Rnnn file was found. Both files are required to perform the
  multiframe restart for the linear perturbation analysis. You must use
  the RESCONTROL,LINEAR command in the prior base analysis. The
  ANTYPE,,RESTART command is ignored.
