SubscriberI am doing LS dyna analysis of simple cubic structure with a top plate with velocity 1000 mm/sec and bottom fixed.
Analysis was performed well.
Now I want to do density based topology optimization. For this when I am setting Objective then in response constraint I am unable to set up response . Kindly help. Image is attached below. Thanks

Modal
Steady-State Thermal
Static Structuralin combination with either aModalor aSteady-State Thermal
The loading and/or boundary conditions defined in your upstream system are used to create an optimized part based on the objectives and constraints specified in theTopology Optimizationanalysis.

I am worried for the topology optimization that can only be done with linked structural analysis/model in ansys.
However, I am trying to replicate similar work performed in paper titled "advanced lattice material with high energy absorption based topology optimization"
In this paper author had used lsdyna along with topology optimization .
If any idea please tell me.

ANSYS Topology Optimization does not currently support an LS-DYNA analysis.
I expect the authors of that paper have written their own custom version of Topology Optimization for their research.

SubscriberHello, I think you should make the lattice model first and then do the energy absorption simulation. As far as I know, topology optimization cannot be optimized into a lattice structure.
