Hi! I´m using the student license to solve a simple problem in ansys explicit dynamics. After define all the conditions needed and solve my problem, it always appears the same errors:

Can you please go to solution information and check the error message in worksheet. It will give you better idea about the post processor error.
      Regards Amaniyar

Hi, Amaniyar! It appears this information:
Is it possible to understand what could be wrong?

Have you checked for error messages in worksheet?
Please check for error and warning messages in worksheet. (You can use Ctrl + F and then search 'error'). So that you can get more information about the error.
I have attached the image for your reference, how it will look when you search for error message.
      Regards Amaniyar

The cause for such errors could caused by as follows,
If you open an file from the Archive or from unsaved solution information workbench file you may face such postprocessing errors. You may need to clear the solution and re run the entire model again and see if you face this error again.
I have also found that your cycles are limited to 288, is there any specific reason ?, Lower cycles mean shorter solve time on the cost of accuracy. Adding to this, your simulation was not a fail, it can be decoded from message- Problem Terminated--wrap-up cycles reached.
If you want your simulation to be faster you may need to opt for geometric simplification, Mass scaling or Hardware improvement, I suggest you to not to decrease the Cycle count , comment down your response on the outcome and for better help.
      Cheers, Ram

Hi, Ram! Thank you for your help. It is the first time that I use ansys explicit dynamics and I didn't change the number of cycles, so threre's no specific reason. I tried to clear generated data again and re run the model, but the problem appeared again. Can I send you the model, so you can try to find the error?
      Regards Luís

As employ of the Ansys we are not allowed to receive or open any files send by the forum users, Sorry in this regards. Perhaps you can explain what you want to achieve from this simulation so that we can suggest you better. Since this is your first time using the EXPLICIT code in ANSYS i suggest you to go through the Course tailored by our experts in following link.

      Cheers, Ram

Hi, Ram! Thank you! I saw that the error only appears when I save my simulation. Until I do that, I can simulate and change what I want, the number of times that I want. Any suggestion to solve it? Where must I save the file?
      Regards

      !
I have exactly the same problem...
It seem that when I "save under" my project, nothing work anymore, but when I just save it, it's okay...
I've spend a lot of time searching a solution, have you find any?
      Thank you Elisabeth
