This course covers the intricate concept of transport phenomena of non-Newtonian fluids. It provides a comprehensive understanding of momentum and thermal boundary layer flows. For instance, learners will delve into the analysis of boundary layer flows, the momentum equation, and the energy equation for these flows. The course also explains how to calculate the boundary layer thickness for both momentum and thermal boundary layers. It further elucidates the basics of boundary layers at a solid surface, the concept of velocity gradients, and the separation of flow regions. The course concludes with the development of integral momentum and energy equations for boundary layer flows. It also includes a detailed discussion on mass transfer in laminar boundary layer flow of power law liquids.
