Ansys LS-DYNA® nonlinear dynamics structural simulation software is the industry-leading explicit simulation software used for applications like forming, drop tests, crashes, and impact. Based on an example of a car bumper impacting a rigid barrier, you will discover how to use LS-DYNA process integration in automated Ansys optiSLang® workflows in this course. You will examine the most important design parameters for the car bumper and learn how to optimize it in terms of cost and stiffness.

The course contains seven lessons explaining the principles and how to complete the simulation. During the tutorial, you will apply what you have learned in performing a further optimization step. In the final quiz, you can check the knowledge you have gained.
