Process Integration — Lesson 3

In this lesson, we will discuss the first step of optimization using Ansys optiSLang® process integration and design optimization software, which is Process Integration. This involves automating the simulation process, enabling the evaluation of hundreds of designs. This lesson will walk you through the process of setting up a valid simulation process chain, defining the workflow, and automating the whole simulation process using the Ansys optiSLang application. Specific steps include creating a new project using the Solver Wizard, defining input and output parameters, adding the Ansys Fluent-Mesher and Ansys Fluent Solver nodes, and defining the criteria for optimization. The result is an automated workflow that can simulate a variety of design variations to produce corresponding output values needed for the optimization process.
