Ansys optiSLang® process integration and design optimization software is one of the leading universal software platforms for CAE-based optimization in virtual prototyping. It connects multiple CAE tools and different physics into a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to optimization, aiding in a more comprehensive understanding of design, thus enabling quicker, informed decisions.
This course provides a hands-on learning experience on conducting parametric variation analysis and optimization for an Ansys Fluent® fluid simulation case using Ansys optiSLang software, centered on the example of a duct with turning vanes. It begins with an introduction to Ansys optiSLang software, covering its capabilities, followed by a description of the example problem and an overview of the analysis procedure. We will learn to create an automated simulation workflow integrating Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software and Ansys Fluent software enabling the evaluation of hundreds of designs. The course delves into sensitivity analysis, including a demonstration of setting up sensitivity analysis and using the post-processing window. Finally, we will learn to conduct optimization analysis within Ansys optiSLang software and interpret the results in the post-processing window.
