Lesson 1: CFD-DEM Simulation: Ansys Fluent Software with Ansys Rocky Software

In this lesson, we will introduce the fundamental concepts of DEM-CFD coupled simulations. We will explore their importance and applications, discuss the main types of couplings using Ansys Rocky™ particle dynamics simulation software and Ansys Fluent® fluid simulation software, and demonstrate a 2-way coupled simulation. By the end of the lesson, you will take a brief quiz to assess your understanding of the topic.
