In this lesson, we will present a demo of setting up and solving a heat transfer computational fluid dynamics (CFD) problem of flow through a T-junction model in Ansys Fluent. We will focus on how to define boundary condition to enable convection, how to use thermal conditions for setting conjugate heat transfer for both solid and fluid zones, and how to create report definitions and plots for monitoring convergence. Additionally, we will learn how to perform mass and energy balance checks to ensure convergence. Finally, we will discuss how to post-process the results quantitatively and graphically using various tools in Ansys Fluent.
