Intro to Describe Geometry – Lesson 1
After the geometry is imported and the surface is meshed, the next step in the Ansys Fluent Meshing watertight geometry workflow is to describe the geometry to prepare it for volume meshing. This is done through the Describe Geometry task. The purpose of this lesson is to introduce you to the Describe Geometry task and give an overview of basic user inputs. This includes selecting the type of imported geometry, capping the openings and extracting the fluid volume, deciding the behavior of fluid-fluid boundaries, and sharing topology for computer-aided design (CAD) assemblies containing multiple parts.
