This lesson details the necessary steps for setting up an electrothermal management simulation between Ansys HFSS and Ansys Icepak that is automated when using the EMtoIcepak ACT extension.
This lesson shows how to easily use a HFSS model in an Icepak design. It also covers the Icepak simulation setup, which includes thermal boundaries, mesh settings, EM loss mapping, and analysis. This lesson shows the temperature plot for hollow and partially filled twist waveguides.
We will use the same twist waveguide model that we have used in the EMtoIcepak ACT extension and compare the results.
