Behavior of Higher-Order Modes - Lesson 5

In this lesson, the discussion continues the stability analysis and the amplification matrix. Stability analysis is based on an eigenvalue analysis of amplification matrix ‘A’. The spectral radius for the amplification matrix is defined and stability is linked to this radius. Linear independence and dependence of the eigenvectors are discussed. In the end, stability is expressed in terms of the amplification matrix.
