Ansys AVxcelerate Sensors autonomous vehicle sensor simulation software radar model relies on Shooting and Bouncing Rays (SBR) methodology. It extends physical optics to multiple bounces with geometrical optics ray tracing and captures multiple bounces, real materials and real geometry features that are key to generate high fidelity data and stimulate perception algorithm.
Prerequisites:
Getting Started with Ansys AVxcelerate Sensors Software course.
Learning Outcomes:
- Following completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Manage dielectric properties.
- Identify the radar sensor model and its parameters.
- Create a radar sensor.
- Analyze the output data generated by the Radar sensor.
Please note: These training materials were developed and tested in the 2026R1 release.
