Ansys Mechanical Scripting

If you have completed the Ansys Mechanical Getting Started training and have reached a point where you want to go to the next level, then the Ansys Mechanical Scripting course will help you become more productive, generate more accurate simulations, and create your own workflows by customizing the Ansys Mechanical™ structural finite element analysis software. This course may be also be used as a stepping stone to the Introduction to Ansys ACT in Mechanical software course.

As you become more experienced and proficient using Ansys Mechanical software, you may benefit from automating and customizing certain tasks to either improve your efficiency or develop your own custom workflows.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Use the Ansys Mechanical software Console to access Ansys Mechanical software’s API
• Automate the creation of standard tree objects in Ansys Mechanical software / Meshing
• Use scripting to change solver settings, explore the geometry and mesh programmatically, and export results
• Automate the creation of an Ansys Mechanical Model from start to finish

Prerequisites:

• Ansys Mechanical Getting Started course.
• A basic knowledge of Python programming is recommended but not required.
