The Ansys Fluent FSI course is an advanced course covering modeling approaches for fluid-structure interaction applications using Ansys Fluent® fluid simulation software and Ansys Mechanical™ structural finite element analysis software. The course will cover setup, solution, and convergence of one-way and two-way FSI simulations. You must have experience running Ansys Fluent and some prior experience using Ansys Mechanical for the training to be effective.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Select the most appropriate FSI approach, depending on their particular application and the required simulation accuracy.
Prerequisites:
- Completion of the Ansys Fluent Getting Started course is required.
- Completion of the Ansys Fluent Dynamic Mesh Modelling course is strongly recommended.
- Experience with Ansys Fluent is strongly recommended.
- Experience with Ansys Mechanical is desirable.
