Setting Up Pulsating Heat Pipes (PHP) in Ansys Fluent​ Software (ABP)

This Application Best Practice (ABP) provides a clear step-by-step guidance to setup a Pulsating Heat Pipe while considering real fluidics effects as well as undergoing phase changed processes in the heat pipe.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Properly set up a Pulsating Heat Pipe in Ansys Fluent® fluid simulation software and Creation of Real Gas Property Tables and how to incorporate them into Ansys Fluent Solver.

Prerequisites:

• Able to use Ansys Fluent Watertight Meshing.
• Familiarity with interface tracking schemes like the VOF model.
• Postprocessing using Ansys Fluent software.
• Ansys Fluent Meshing with Watertight Geometry Workflow
• Ansys Fluent Multiphase Flow Modeling
