In this workshop, you will learn about building scalar and 3D AI/ML models with Ansys optiSLang® process integration and design optimization software. The setup for automating Ansys Workbench™ simulation integration platform simulations with parameters to generate the data and building the AI/ML from it are described step by step. Furthermore, you will learn how to find out the most impactful parameters and analyse the predictive quality of the scalar and 3D AI/ML models. Finally, the 3D Machine Learning model can be used to predict new results in real-time.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Automatize Ansys Workbench in the Ansys optiSLang application.
  • Use of Sensitivity Wizard in Ansys optiSLang to set up the adaptive data generation with the AMOP algorithm.
  • Build and analyze the quality of a scalar (0D) Machine Learning model with Ansys optiSLang. Find out the most impactful parameters on scalar results from the simulation.
  • Build and analyze the quality of a field (3D) Machine Learning model with Ansys optiSLang.
  • Find out the most impactful parameters on our field results from the simulation.
  • Use the 3D Machine Learning model to predict new field results in real-time.
  • Understand information of the post processing for scalar (0D) and field (3D) Machine Learning models.

Prerequisites:

  • Completion of Ansys optiSLang Getting Started course is required.
  • Completion of Ansys Mechanical Parametric Solutions course is required.
