In the design of imaging systems, analyzing stray light and assessing image quality requires you to consider the lens geometries and the opto-mechanical elements that constrain them.
The following tutorial course provides you with an overview of the Optical Design Exchange to help you understand how to use it in the context of Ansys Speos® CAD integrated optical and lighting simulation for NX software.
Ghost analysis is typically performed in the Ansys Zemax OpticStudio® optical system design and analysis software during the design of the free-floating lenses. Then, the optical design created can be imported into Ansys Speos for NX software to perform tolerance analysis using its capabilities.
Learning Outcomes:
Following completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Prepare your system in the Ansys Zemax OpticStudio software for the export.
- Import your Optical Design Exchange file into the Ansys Speos for NX software.
- Create NX constraints and parameters.
- Run a tolerance analysis on the optical system in Ansys Speos for NX.
