Overview
The Fluent GPU Solver is uniquely suited to aeroacoustics simulation in that it combines a fast, unsteady, compressible flow solver (including appropriate scale-resolving turbulence models) with acoustics-specific models, boundary conditions, and post-processing. At the current release (2026 R1), the GPU solver has many features that make it equivalent to the Fluent CPU solver, but with the advantage that transient calculations can be up to, and order of magnitude faster, using widely available GPUs.
