This short course will teach you how to create a new extension in Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software. Extensions can be created in one or many groups, belonging to one or many created tabs. To define what the extension can do, Python scripts are used. Many workshops are presented, and links to other examples are given as well in this course.
Learning Outcomes:
Following completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Create new extensions in Ansys Discovery software by defining their groups and tabs.
- Find where to write the Python script to define what each extension can do.
- Find other examples following the attached examples and links.
Prerequisites:
- The completion of one of the ‘Ansys Discovery for FEA Geometry Preparation Getting Started’ or the ‘Ansys Discovery for CFD Geometry Preparation Getting Started’ courses.
- Python scripting
