This course is designed for users interested in learning about thermal runaway and propagation simulations. These simulations are transient. In this course, Ansys Fluent® fluid simulation software will be used. It is expected that you are familiar with Ansys Fluent software before taking this course.
Learning Outcome:
Following completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Use 3D CFD to study thermal runaway and propagation within battery modules/packs.
Prerequisites:
- Completion of the Introduction to Ansys Fluent course is required.
- Completion of the workshop of Battery Module Conjugate Heat Transfer Analysis, which is part of Battery Thermal Management course, with Ansys Fluent Software course is recommended.
