Learning Outcomes:
Following completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Install the Ansys LS-DYNA usermat package, compile the code, and run a simulation with a user material.
- Implement basic elastoplastic material models based upon stress and strain measures.
- Call a user subroutine with required inputs and outputs created with basic knowledge of Fortran.
- Explore default user material implementations in Ansys LS-DYNA software, implement basic elastic and plastic material models, and use advanced features such as anisotropy, load curves, and history variables.
Prerequisites:
- Completion of Introduction to Ansys LS-DYNA course is required.
