Introduction to RF Desense with Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT) Platform

This course introduces you to the simulation workflow for radio frequency (RF) desensitization, or “desense”, analysis in Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT)™ electronics systems design platform. Upon successful completion of this course you will understand how complex projects in Ansys HFSS™ high-frequency electromagnetic simulation software are used in conjunction with Electromagnetic Interference Toolkit (EMIT) to mitigate RF desense issues.
Learning Outcome:
Following the completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Link Ansys HFSS software designs to EMIT coupling.
- Define digital aggressors and RF receivers.
- Distinguish between narrowband and broadband interference sources.
- Create parametric clock and data signals.
- Evaluate multiple interference sources using “N to 1” cases.
Prerequisites:
- Familiarity with simulation concepts and/or Ansys Electronics Desktop is helpful.
