This course covers the comprehensive process of modeling and analyzing structures using Ansys software. It begins with the creation of a G+3 building model, detailing the geometry and dimensions of the structure. The course then delves into conducting a modal analysis, developing the mass and stiffness matrix, and observing the impact of an asymmetric plan building on the mode shapes. The course also teaches how to assign different properties to the model, such as geometric properties and material properties. Furthermore, the course explores the application of Ansys software in solving structural vibration problems, focusing on the use of model superposition analysis to determine the structure's response to external forces. The course concludes with the extraction and interpretation of the time history response and response spectrum analysis.
