The principle of car projection lamps involves directing LED light into a film and then refracting it through a lens to project-specific images from the film onto objects. This design is primarily used for illuminating the ground area near the car doors during nighttime. Typically, we start by designing and optimizing the lenses using Zemax and then import the optimized lens into Ansys Speos for simulation. This course will demonstrate light simulation for car projection lamps and conduct reverse ray tracing and visual effects analysis.

This course is developed by RayTeng Creative in partnership with Ansys.

A course completion badge allows you to showcase your success. We partner with the Credly Acclaim platform, and digital badges can be used in email signatures, digital resumes and social media sites. The digital image contains verified metadata that describes your participation in our course and the topics and skills that were covered. This badge is for successfully completing the Car Projection Lamp Simulation using Ansys Speos course.
