Workaround when the solver fails only with a specific number of partitions

      Running in parallel on a certain number of cores can cause a solver error. This is related to how the partitioning is done on that geometry, and it often seems related to partitions crossing interfaces. A workaround is to try using a different partitioning method from MeTis (i.e. Optimized R. C. B.).
