      It seems to be related to the order in which the Reference and Mobile entities are scoped for the initially created connection. When you use Object Generator to duplicate the original connection, you need to respect this same order when pointing to named selections. If you reverse them, then the Object Generator will end up creating what appears to be an extra connection at the original location, but with Reference and Mobile scoping reversed from original.
