What can the .cfx file be used for in CFD-Post?

The .cfx file is the native CFX-Pre input file. It is generated by CFX-Pre, and contains mesh, boundary condition, and interface information. It does not contain any solution information, so when it’s read into CFD-Post the only variables available are mesh-related (i.e. (x,y,z) coordinates of the mesh, etc.). The .cfx file can be used in CFD-Post to evaluate mesh quality of the model.
