      Applies to all versions of Ansys Mechanical This error will occur if C:users is a mount point to another drive. This has to do with the version of TCL that MAPDL uses, version 8.4 TCL 8.5 supports user profile disks but developers haven’t attempted to upgrade the version of TCL in fear of destabilizing other features. Plus developers had anticipated getting rid of the old GUI after R17.
