      By default, the “Share” operation in SpaceClaim does not consider instanced components while checking for Shared topologies. This can be a problem when there are patterns in the model that are required to be shared, since patterns are considered as instanced components in SpaceClaim. This default feature of the “Share” operation can be changed by unchecking the “Preserve Instances” option from the Share Topology options panel. The attached video illustrates this process.
