Is it possible to join a tet and a Hex mesh together so they share a common interface with a 1-1 mesh connection. Is it also possible for them to have inflation layers which span across both meshes?

The answer to both these questions is yes! The attached movie demonstrates how to create a hex and a tet mesh inside ANSYS ICEM. The two meshes will then be merged together to allow a conformal 1-1 mesh connection. Finally inflation will be added which spans across the two meshes
