While doing external fluid flow simulations on a vehicle, the projected frontal area is very important parameter for vehicle design as it has a significant impact on aerodynamic drag. This video will help you measure the area of the projected silhouette and displayed in the design window. With this information and drag force, you can calculate the drag coefficient to compare the aerodynamic efficiency of the different designs.
